Welcome to 2020

I'm moving schools this year, across into the role of Head of Library and Information Services. It's very exciting and there is a certain amount of "good anxiety" in the air around expectations and anticipated experiences.

I am looking forward to focusing just on the "school library" and being a Teacher Librarian for a while rather than being pulled between other teaching and leadership responsibilities. Putting some of the materials that I learnt in my degree into play, as my new school is mostly a greenfield site as far as Teacher Librarians go.

They haven't had a Teacher Librarian for several years so there are lots of opportunities to established an evidence based reading and information literacy program.
